Payment Processing
We accept all major credit and debit cards or cheques. Paying by card is easy and totally secure and will enable us to action your order immediately. If you wish to pay by cheque, we will not dispatch your items until the payment has cleared. Please send cheques to our office address and write your order no. on the rear.
Contacting us
We are always happy to hear from all types of customer: consumers, architects, trades people, installers, specifiers and interior designers.
You can contact us by email or phone. We aim to respond to all emails within one working day (although it may be longer depending on the nature of the enquiry)
We are also available on the phone between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Item details and images
We do our best to ensure that our product images and descriptions are as clear and accurate as possible. However, due to circumstances we can't control, there are sometimes discrepancies between our information and the actual product.
If you find that your purchase is not what you expected, please contact us and we will arrange for it to be returned.

Warranty
All our products have a minimum of 12 months' manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase, and many have longer warranties.
To safeguard your warranty, check the leaflet supplied with your product and retain the invoice/receipt in a safe place for future reference.
If your item is out of warranty but you still feel it should be replaced, please contact us. Some out-of-warranty items can be replaced, at our discretion.
Technical advice
Since we have qualified electricians on our team, we're happy to offer advice on product suitability before a purchase is made. We are also happy to offer technical advice to competent electrical installers before and after purchase.
However, we regret that we cannot offer technical fitting advice (in areas such as wiring) to the general public. Instead, we strongly recommend that all our products are installed by a competent, suitably qualified fitter. Click here to find a qualified fitter in your area.
Fitting service
All of our electrical installers are registered with ELECSA, a government-approved Part P Competent Person Scheme. ELECSA assesses registered contractors annually through a site visit, ensuring that they have relevant, up-to-date qualifications and valid insurance.
Please note that we do not personally vet the installers listed on our site and cannot be held responsible for the installer's standard of work. If you do have any cause for concern or wish to make a complaint about one of our listed installers, please contact us. We will investigate the matter immediately and keep you informed of our actions; if necessary, the installer's details will be deleted from our site.

Delivery
Expected delivery times are shown on our product pages. However, these are provided solely as a guide, since many of our products are made to order and may take longer to arrive.
If you have a specific deadline you need to meet, please contact us before ordering and we will do our best to ensure that your order arrives on time. Please note that we do not accept liability for any losses incurred by installers if a delivery arrives later than expected or stated on this site.
Returns
Any items not required can be returned to us for a full refund providing the item is undamaged and still in its original packaging.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent and the damaged unit to be collected. If your item is faulty, we will arrange for a replacement or contact the manufacturer for you - you won't have to contact the manufacturer directly.
Privacy
We never pass your details on to any other person or company. We are registered as a data holder under the Data Protection Act 1998 and comply with all of their requirements.
WEEE regulations
The recently introduced WEEE regulations aim to increase the amount of electronic equipment that is recycled, preventing it from reaching landfill.
As an electrical retailer, we have a duty under these regulations to take back a used electrical item similar to the new one being purchased from our store, free of charge. This covers only the lamps (bulbs) that we supply not domestic light fittings and switches.
You can therefore send us an old lamp (bulb) in place of a new one purchased, provided you deliver the item to us or pay for carriage. Your old item must reach us within 28 days of your purchase.
